The colours of spring

.. or at least Green leaves, Yellow, and Blue.
After yesterday's trip on the bikes to watch the Tour de Yorkshire, today we headed East on a much more leisurely and quiet ride, in order to make the most of the fine weather.
At this time of year it is good to fill the lungs with fresh air and the countryside smells wonderful.
The yellow rapeseed was rather dazzling in the sunshine, and the bluebells are just approaching their best.

We stopped briefly in the village of Hunsingore on the way back. I tried to take a shot of the impressive church, but although it sits in a dominant position in the village, it seems to be surrounded by overgrown trees. The shot on the left is the best I could do from the road.
