Nodding Bells

The mystery buds that I blipped almost three weeks ago are now flowering. I think they are probably a variety of fritillary but can't find any reference to them at the moment.

Enjoying the lovely sunshine today but have to say it is too hot to spend much time in the garden.  We have just got in from an impromptu evening in our friends' garden, enjoying cool wine, lovely food and excellent company. Comments will have to go on the back burner until tomorrow.
