A year and a half ago I supported a kickstarter project that I thought was a really neat invention - a cider and mead maker that is controlled by an app on my phone that shows the weight of the ingredients as you put them in, has an ultra violet sanitizer and then monitors the progress of the brew on the app - it arrived today and so in went the honey, water and yeast and it is scheduled to stop fermenting after 4 days - then rest for a few days before we can drink it - it’s always a little bit of a risk supporting these projects but they seem to have done an excellent job of putting this together! Looking forward to a bit of Mead in a few days time!
