Meall Ghaordie
We have been waiting for a weather window so we could go up the west tops of Beinn Eibhinn and recently the weather has been uncooperative. The high pressure over England has stubbornly kept cloudy westerlies to plague Scotland. On Saturday, friends contacted us to see if we wished to go up a couple of Corbetts near Glen Lyon so we said yes and agreed to meet them on the Sunday morning ay Innerwick to go up Cam Chreag. It was lovely in Edinburgh for a change, but more cloudy there but hints that the cloud would burn off. It was warm so a shorts day for the first time this year as we walked up the track to the east of the hill. The views were good, albeit quite hazy, and the blip shows Meall Ghaordie on the ridge down beyond a wee lochan. The extra is of the Lawers hills. We had a convivial evening further up Glen Lyon.
