Duck Egg Candling: Day 14

Mr. Badger helped me candle the duck eggs again tonight and the 3 remaining eggs are all looking really great. I so wish I had brought my phone for a quick video (it is hard fiddling with settings on my dslr in the dark!). I will try to another night, because watching them move around is amazing! 

Pie took over brooding duties from Kung Pao, and Kung Pao finally gets to rest (she was broody for almost 2 months already!). Pie however is mean and hisses and stabs me every chance she gets. On the plus side, no other hens dare lay eggs in that nest, so I don't have to collect them from under her any more ;)
