Calm complexity
I like photos that need more than a casual glance to absorb. This one was taken on a corner of Rundle Street in Adelaide while I was waiting quietly for someone at lunch time, in front of a fashion shop. I turned around and was presented with all these reflections, silhouettes and a scene through two shop windows on a corner. Unlike many times that I spend in Adelaide I was relaxed and I think that helped me see what was in front of me. Back home when I was preparing the photo for blip my initial response was that this image was a good representation of tension in the city. But I was wrong. Paradoxically, this busy image represents a perfectly calm moment for me.
