Monday: Welsh Hall

I had a breakfast meeting and a lunch meeting today. Normally I try not to have two food meetings on one day as it can make you feel rather full!

This afternoon I met with the Welsh Society of Vancouver at the Welsh Hall. Not only is it the oldest Welsh Hall in N. America, it's the only Welsh Hall in N. America. If it wasn't for the big Vancouver sign I think you could be forgiven for thinking this was in village in the UK.

The sidewalk/pavement thing is still running (see last Thursday). Not only was it on CKNW yesterday but it was also picked up by CBC. A couple of people told me today they'd heard it - it's all quite bizarre........it must have been a slow news day.
