"Learning to Fly from the Old Windmill"

... Down to the Old Windmill around the corner from us this afternoon, intending to take another 'study' in the area, but saw Father Magpie with Juvenile surveying the countryside from the platform at the top of the windmill. Baby is just old enough now to be flying well and what a good vantage point there - and it won't be long and off he'll go in to his new world in the sky and round about.. (I guess he was a 'he', - bit hard to tell at that age!.)

They weren't a bit interested in us ofcourse, down below...
