Hever

What a hot day!

After dropping my older one back at college we headed to Hever to meet a school friend and to enjoy the luxury of INSET, which means everywhere is quiet because everyone is at school and work.

My (not so) little one managed to enjoy the water maze and even made a bit of an effort to get wet once he'd worked out it was perfectly safe and that it was the best way to cool down.

I do like Hever. I feel the history there. Even just the little country lanes around it are timeless.
