One swallow...

... There were many.
Such a delightful sight. We were staying in a B & B so that we could attend a party. What a fabulous stay. Our hosts were so kind and the breakfast was truly five star (home made: granola, museli, rhubarb compote, apple puree, all manner of jams and marmalades and bread) and eaten whilst watching the birds and the (slightly less welcome) rabbits in a beautiful garden.

The swallows were too quick for me to snap anything better than this.
Apparently they arrive almost without fail on 4th April and stay (having made a frightful mess, bless 'em) until September.

Clearly they are made as welcome as we were.
