This morning we pitched up to our tiny rental property to clean it ready for the next guests. It’s not a job we particularly look forward to, but today it was an absolute cinch. Our wonderful guests from New Zealand had left it so immaculate that we had almost nothing to do.

Finishing early we decided to try a brasserie we haven’t been to before. What a treat it was. How can a simple organic burger, unpeeled fries and salad taste so good? The beer even comes from a tiny micro-brewery over the road.
