Great St Mary's Church, Main Entrance.

The University church of Cambridge. The foundations were laid in 1010 and this present building was constructed between 1478 and 1519. Kings Richard II and Henry VII covered most of the cost and Henry also donated 100 oak trees to build the roof. This entrance now has a secure door, not ever needed in my young days. My reflection seems to have disappeared, maybe because the doors are curved. ! In the reflection you can see the Senate House.
