Israel & Palestine trip Day 9

Our trip is almost over. It's been amazing and a real historical feast.

Today was spent in Nazareth beginning with a visit to a Nazareth Jesus would have known and grown up in as a child (my extra)

Otherwise, to the Fortress of Megiddo, a very ancient city which dominated trade routes from Egypt to Mesopotamia and overlooks the plains of Armageddon, also mentioned in the Old testament of the bible. Some amazing views from here! And ...another steep, spiral staircase to a water tunnel. 

Much I will have to revisit when we get home! My notes don't always make sense at the end of the day when I look back at them!!

Back for our last dinner and then to pack for home tomorrow. So much to remember for a long time!
