Cherry Blossom

It was a lovely morning but then the rain hit at lunchtime. Probably no bad thing what with everything bursting into life just now, the drink will be welcome.

The ornamental cherry arch has suddenly started to blossom and the beech hedge that only had the odd few green leaves showing on Saturday is now more than halfway.

It was my old school friend’s funeral today - sadly not many of us could make it as he’d emigrated to Australia a few years ago but it sounds like he was given a great send off.
