Late Spring

I have been watching out for this - the blossom on a tree at Abbeyhill which last year I blipped in all it’s wonderful colour and texture on the 19th of April.

Last week there were only a few hints of pink on the highest bough, but today it is in full flower although almost three weeks later than in 2017.
