Just a routine blood draw for Eric, but he also turned in another specimen of the abdominal fluid that continues to drain from the drain opening that can't seem to close up because so much fluid keeps leaking out. This is the second time the lab will take a close look at it. I think it is probably in the range of normal surgery side effects, and I hope you don't think it's too gross to describe here.
But are you curious how we collected the fluid when there is no tube or nifty plastic bulb or anything else to collect it?
