Enjoying the Sunshine

Sure was another stunning Autumns day with around 20c. We had no wind and sunshine all day.

I did have plans for taking a walk around the city today .. but couldn't. Strange..as this is the second time this has happen in the past few days being stopped for going into the city.

First a neighbour we have never meet before called in concerned about the five kids that live over the road from us. She lives in a the back section next to them. She thought they may have left and was worried about them. They are still there, as I see them most days. We have seen the police calling in on them a few times. It is a housing estate house. The lady stayed for around hour and told us she had lived here 30 years.

Just after our visitor left I got a email from my new found cousin that lives down the road. She had dug up some lilies for me that have been in the family for a few generations. It was great catching and having a chat. Also the time she arrived the neighbour from over the road who's house we were looking while they were away called in with some rhubarb and to thank us.

The rest of the day was planting the lilies along with some others I had in pots as well as other gardening. I have two lilies left I will take to Akaora from our family lilies I was given today.

I think today maybe this many be the end of our lovely sunning weather.. sadly.
