Feeding The Dragon.
Refuelling the office woodchip burner by tractor bucket. The slope doesn't look much, but from the cab, it's only roof and sky that can be seen. An auger feeds the fuel through to the burner head where fan-assisted combustion takes place. We burn about 30 tonnes of woodchip over an eight month heating season, providing heating and hot water for 40 people. Solar panels assist in water heating throughout the summer months.
If anybody is interested, The Dragon is Finish, he's called 'Veto' (Google for more info.) and has an output of 80Kw. I have the enviable task of disposing of his hot poo.
