Loch Ness minus Nessie

On my way to my daughter Kirstine's home in Drumnadrochit, I had to stop and snap this scene. It shows a little corner of Loch Ness and surrounding hills.

Kirstine is a primary teacher. Every year in this beautiful part of Scotland she dresses as a witch for Halloween to welcome her guisers. It started small scale, but last night she had 135 guisers plus parents. Everyone performed and got their nuts and sweeties. Great to keep these traditions going.

What a quality of life. Stunning country and wonderful community. I'm here for a few days so more to come!
