Our blooming Clematis Montana

The sun wasn't shining as brightly today and as a result the temperature has been much cooler. But this spring's weather conditions seems to be exactly what the pink Clematis Montana thrives on. This is a tiny portion of the flowers covering the hedge between us and our neighbours right up close to the house. It won't be long before the white Clematis Montana flowers as well over the railings and up the vine and onto the adjacent tree. I love this time of the year. I just wish I had done a lot of gardening in advance of the spirit in growth as the rest of the garden is also flourishing and I need to get back control!
