Two people asked me if I am Dutch today. I actually get this quite often. I think people just have trouble ‘placing’ me; they think: clearly not German, clearly not Mediterranean, clearly not Russian or East European, blondish/reddish hair and not too short, then ... she must be Dutch!

Either that or I’m good at gargley vowel sounds ;-)
