Poplars

A frustrating day at work. I make little progress in the face of conflicting forces of digital rights management and ease of administration. I work later than normal in hope of a breakthrough, but throw in the towel at six. Being paid by the hour, rather than by results, never makes these bad days feel better.

I get home, thankful for a lift from Liz, having missed my train, and put my feet up in the hammock.
