Something in the way she moves...

I have a sore arm!

Yeah. I know this looks like my eye, but it’s all related.

This time last year I had the same sore arm - doctor diagnosed ‘tendonitis’ and gave me Nabroxin and painkillers. It cleared up within a week.

It started again next week and I think we’ve reckoned it’s caused by weeding furiously in April.

So I found the pills took em. And some painkillers and made myself insensible. Couldn’t remember getting to work yesterday.

By evening it was so sore himself took me to A&E but because it was ‘a previous injury’ they wouldn’t see me.

This morning I called the surgery. They said, take the pills and the painkillers and rest it. I took the pills. Felt instantly sick and reread the instructions. ‘do not take if allergic to ibufrn’.

Called surgery back ‘what kind of allergy is it?’ ‘It makes me throw up’. If you could manage a couple of days, it would really help. If not. We could prescribe Gel. It won’t impact on your stomach .

Took the pills. Went to bed. Slept off the sick. Himself took me to pharmacy. We got the gel the doctor had left and a splint.

I put the gel on tonight; and sneezed.

My hand went in my eye. And a film formed over my eye. Blocking my vision. And getting redder by the minute.

Himself has just spent ten minutes holding my head over sink trying to wash it out. Finally we were able to catch hold of the film and pull it from my eye and then it just disintegrated in my hand. Yeuk.

Yeah. It would appear if you’re allergic to ibufen, it doesn’t matter where you put it
