We have two grey squirrels that visit our garden. Apart from raiding the bird feeders, I've watched them scratching around in the grass and appear to be burying leaves. Then I watched "Autumn Watch" and discovered that they are actually burying a stash of goodies for the winter and they are using the fallen leaves to help disguise the stash.
