Light dance in alcohol!

I've just been playing with the camera in close-up mode whilst my partner makes dinner. The final dinner of steamed Teriyaki Salmon, Bulger Wheat & Avocado salad makes a lovely, mouthwatering picture, but this image fascinates me!

It's the moment when the Sake was being poured (and mixed with a spoon) into the brown sugar and soy sauce... the way the light plays off of the fluid, its movement, and I think the vapour from the alcohol to create bright light lines and squiggles (technical word!)... I love it! B)

The kitchen smells incredible by the way!! Our home made teriyaki sauce on salmon is right up there in my favourite flavours! Yum...
