Not daisies

At first glance I thought my friend's lawn was covered in daisies, but a closer look showed it to be fallen apple blossom. The apple blossom has been excellent this year, so I hope that means there will be a bumper crop for the apple growers. In the same garden there was a lovely white lilac with a strong perfume, looking good against the blue sky, my extra.
A big fox has just run at top speed through our garden, being chased by our tiny cat Coco. No way was she going to tolerate him in her garden! It is reassuring to know that she will stand up to a fox who is many times her size.
