Our last Tulip...

Had quite a busy day today... Haircut this morning, off to Cambridge this afternoon to order a new mattress, and a punt around looking for a garden bench.

The mattress we're replacing has done well over the suggested 8-10 years so a bit like my haircut it was not before time. Margaret had it in her mind that we might get the kind of bench she wants at the local re-claimed building materials merchant.  That turned out not to be the case, they don't do that sort of thing any more and only seem interested in cast-iron fireplaces and pallets of recovered bricks that they can sell heart stopping prices.

So the search for a garden bench goes on...

This is our very last tulip in the garden, all the others have gone over and dropped their petals, so it seemed a good blip worthy flower.
