Fluffed and Flustered

Fluffed and flustered as he sauntered in front of me having landed a couple of feet away in the grounds of Chedworth Roman Villa. Excellent.

I started of with a fair cert for getting my target species at the Bathurst Estate and a few hours later came out with nothing on camera. Then, went to Chedworth Roman Villa where there is a walk, with again - dead cert butterflies. NO no there weren't! For the miles and time put in today I feel a tad deflated. Nothing flying at all in any shape or form. 

I could have blipped a mosaic but do you know after teaching history for some years I really didn't want to. I have moved on. So ....... I was so really thankful for this gorgeous pheasant - very fluffed and vocal!
