Abstact Greenhouse (AT150)

We spent yesterday afternoon tidying in the garden and organising the space around the greenhouse, and as it makes good use of the light and shade I thought it might make a subject for this week's abstract challenge hosted by Ingeborg.

On it's own the greenhouse is none too exciting, so I have included some of the hawthorn tree behind it and a patch of sky ... twirled together in polar coordinates. The original is in the extra.

It looks quite stark as building the greenhouse was interrupted by travelling up and down to Gill's mum's through our less than exciting spring.  However - it is built now and hopefully Gill will get to make some use of it soon.  She has a hospital stay coming up in mid-June followed by a period of resting/convalescence so we're aiming to use the next three or four weeks to get things into a state where she can get some enjoyment from the garden without having to rely on my  near non-existent gardening skills - this may will be a significant challenge  :-)

The faded plastic pots are how we saved and moved the plants she wanted to keep from our previous house, they have had to stay in this temporary state while we sorted out the house. Now that is near done we can start on the outside.  Behind the fence is the section of railway cutting we are hoping to buy ... I can see that becoming a series of diary blips if we do go ahead.
