Puppies!

... Continued from yesterday ...
So, at 4am Gracie was taken to the vets for a Caesarian as the pups weren’t coming out voluntarily. There were three more, one stillborn, one weak and one that was pretty feisty ( both of them bitches ).

Gracie wasn’t interested in the weak one, so Helen had been bottle feeding her, but the feisty one was getting the hang of latching on to a teat.

I sat with them for a few hours, then as I had to leave for work, Helen’s in-laws came to help. Hard to leave though!
