Karen

Another busy day but I called a break for 1 pm for my Portuguese class! Luckily I did practise enough to make some progress. Still really enjoying it!
When Irineu left I returned to work but managed to leave the house in time for a coffee at Pete's.
Then walked to Queen Margaret Drive and visited Karen in her shop. I even managed to get a photo of this beauty!! We caught up a bit and I heard all about her new man! She seems to have found a keeper ... but he lives in Wales ... :(
Next stop was for my nails. I went back to Han, the sweet Chinese girl. She did a good job again and even applied some nail art on 2 of my nails. 
She is quick and thorough - I am happy to stay with her.
I walked home via Waitrose and got some red peonies! Spring is really there?
Back home and back to work. Neil is coming back tomorrow - I hope that I can take it a bit easier. After all we need to celebrate his birthday that he spent on his own in Middle East!
I look forward to having him back. That's over 2 weeks now!
