Old Great North Road

A number of old sections of the 1960’s era grade separated dual carriageway remain in place, like here near the village of Micklefield. Curiously this bridge spans the counties of North and West Yorkshire, with the southern abutment (pictured here) being - infact - the North Yorkshire side.
