Keep Dancing!

Our Keep Dancing! class met for the last time today in the macrobert arts centre.

We do not reconvene until January 2013 because the space is needed for panto rehearsals.

Our dance teacher, Linzi McClagan, gave us two roses each. She said that it had been quite a rollercoaster experience teaching us because we had all come into it with different agendas.

Basically we were looking for something aerobic with music to increase stamina and flexibility and she had come in blind thinking we wanted to be performance artists.

The class still talk about one exercise she gave us where we were told to hug each other.
"We are Scottish. We don't do touchy -feelie stuff" was the class consensus.

We had to admit though that our children and grandchildren do not share our inhibitions.
