Spring in the garden

Rob and I walked up Sheffield Pike today, looking for the Mountain Bumblebee again. We saw around 15 but there was a stiff breeze and they were hard to photograph. The bilberry banks are all in flower and it is a superb habitat.
It was lovely in the garden too, the apple blossom is just opening and the rhododendron has burst into flower. I love this time of year in the garden, so much expectation!
