Wednesday: Golden Ears Park

It was K's birthday today so I had a lovely midweek day off.

We started with breakfast at Sophie's Cosmic Café. From there, we drove to Golden Ears Park and Alouette Lake where we engaged in the 'h' word. Yes. I think we can legitimately say we hiked. Well, we went for a long walk in nature so that qualifies, right?

Then more snacks and treats in the evening, with drinks at 'The Local', followed by dinner at the 'Blue Martini Jazz Café', complete with some great live music.
