Let Sleeping Bees Lie

He was sleeping on the iris so I could get close. Of course I wanted to pet him, sweet fuzzy thing, but I didn't. If I am reading wiki correctly, the yellow lumps on the legs are pollen baskets (corbiculae) that could contain as many as a million pollen grains. Achoo. Male bumblebees don't have corbiculae, so I guess this is a lady bee and I should be saying she. She was sleeping on the iris so I could poke around to take a photo.
