membrillo

Continuing with my quince fest, I made membrillo today. I had to leave the finished product to set, so I haven't tried it yet. It's a gorgeous thing to cook - smooth and velvety in the pot. I still have a few quince left over; they're ones I picked from up behind in the house in Les Pilles. I swear, the bag smells like a sweet shop.

Was at Nyons market this morning and sat in the sun with a coffee, a pen and some paper. A few decisions to be made...

Now over at my sister's house; she's not well and Elizabeth's poorly too. I made dinner and now I'm about to marinate the cock that Guillaume killed on Tuesday! Going to have it for dinner on Saturday :)
