Southwell

Another mixed day, as we spent the morning at Southwell Minster (the official cathedral of Nottinghamshire, and a slightly heady mix of Norman and gothic architecture) and the afternoon at an old workhouse.

The Workhouse had a number of displays about the fight for women's suffrage, including these ribbons on the gate.
