A pigeon...

I was working outside this morning, along the river. A lot of creatures there at the minute: many swallows, ducks, herons, egrets, moorhens, nutrias, and of course other birds, such as sparrows, blackbirds, etc.. Two moorhens were busy building their nest. It was funny to watch them. At a certain point, one of them wanted to take a twig, but it was rooted, so the moorhen pulled and pulled and pulled.... and then she had enough and went in search of another one. It was lovely to see something so special again. Aren’t I a lucky girl?
