Mummy Board
The hope that yesterdays capital adventure would mean a long nights sleep were dashed at 4.30 this morning when Girl decided it was time to get up. That added with the storm last night that no doubt added more water into our loft meant it was another tired day. Over another early morning breakfast with Girl we had a chat about how if she had a good day she could have something from her treats gathered last night.
At lunch the supermarket was selling off their Halloween tat nice and cheap so I had to get a skateboarding mummy for Boy, which to no suprise he loved. It needed a little bit of a fix but it was not long till both little ones were dancing round with it and fighting over who should press the button to start the singing and skating bonanza again.
Also this evening I asked Girl how she had been today. She struggled to remember anything good but did recall fighting with her brother a couple of times (mainly in retaliation). We then discussed along with Wife all the good things she had done but did not actually take note of such as playing well at her friends and letting Wife have a nap while they were there. I also told her how realising and telling us about the bad stuff was a good thing. This put her in credit one sweet which she withdrew and consumed.
Hopefully this will continue tomorrow, just with the day starting a little earlier thats all.
