Brückentag (Bridge Day)

Not sure if the direct translation is understood or used in English speaking countries. Yesterday we had a public holiday (Ascension Day), so many businesses did close today, making the bridge for a long weekend. Same with us, filling the bridge day first with some fun, i.e. a rowing session in the morning.
