9.5mm

Found three small reels of 9.5mm home movies. Tried scanning yesterday which worked really well but the EXIF data wasn't liked by Blipfoto...
Back in the loft today and found a really ancient projector.

Amazingly the thing still works, probably hasn't been touched for 40 years or so but the bulb and motor still worked. Rigged up a small back-projection screen, ran the film back to front (9.5mm has sprockets in the middle between frames so it can run any which way round or up - useful) and record from the back using my EOS7D. Bit of fun, may blip the set-up some day. Not the best of quality but cheaper than commercial transfer and gives an idea of what the content is.

May have another go at getting better quality results and post online.
