Better Squirrels Through Chemistry

I popped in to York University to get a transcript and hand in some material that belonged to Existere, the literary journal I am resigning from this month after 11 years of volunteering and mentoring.

The title is a play on DuPont Chemical Corporation's advertising slogan (from 1935-1982)  "Better Living Through Chemistry" because these two babies were on the steps of the Chemistry Building. Mama was with them and jumped up above them just before I snapped the photo. Linda is using the one of these two babies nursing.

For those who don't know, they are an all-black variety of grey squirrels (which are actually grey and white, sometimes with a bit of a brown tone).
