LOCK OUT!

Well today......where do I start???

I had Cala in to sort a few bits in the house, done some paperwork and few more jobs on my "ever growing to do list".

I then went to pick the kids up at 3. It went downhill from here!! Johnny was a bit confused about his homework and we went to see if we could see his teacher. Megan asked for the car keys and she was going to wait out at the car. Unfortunately she was taking netball.......we headed out to the car only to find that Megan had came out of the car but the keys were still sitting on the passenger seat......and oooops the doors locked!!!! Arggggggggggg

Mum and Dad have a spare key but they were at Gillian's today in Falkirk.....Big Johnny was working at Drumchapel and was due home around 3.30pm however when I rang him to tell what was happening his words to me were "Danny (his work bud) has my van and I just gave him my keys this morning .......wait for it.......and Danny was in Moffat awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the M74!!! So after shouting down the phone at my husband, I rang my lovely friends, David and Esther (they were working from home) and asked them if they could come and get the kids from me and take them to theirs. They are absolute STARS! I also got a wee cosy in Wendel's car while she waited on Emma at 4pm! Plenty of offers to help me but there was no point in us all hanging around!! Thanks everyone.

Big Johnny then had to arrange to meet someone Strathclyde Park for the handover of his keys so that he could then get to ours and collect the spare key and then head down to get me!!!! 16.50 I got home!!

Phew my toes, bum and fingers are no longer freezing!! If could have been worse and been pouring with rain or snow but it wasn't so all's well that end's well.

What a day.
