The Mists of May...

As the temperatures fall Wanaka gets into it’s more disagreeable time of year when we can get inversion layers that shut out the sun for days at a time. This has started late this year and with climate change I think it will be a wait and see thingie but over in Alexandra the photographic opportunities drag us there at least once a year with wonderful hoar frosts that the locals don’t appreciate at all but photographers go loopy about.  Dogs don’t much care but an outing is an outing is an outing.
It doesn’t last that long in Wanaka but Alex can lose the sun for weeks.

This didn’t last here today either and it was walkies as usual altho The Boss popped his jacket on a couple of times.
