FlowerFriday11_2018 Roses

Today the weather was again just a little cooler and a little less sunny, not that it made a great deal of difference to me as I didn't step out any further than to bring in the wheelie bins.  Violet arrived feeling sleepy and grumpy after apparently a bad night but soon rallied enough to eat 3 breakfasts and be almost back to her usual self.
This afternoon, Zeus09smum made the epic journey from her house to mine (we live next door to each other) and spent the afternoon with me.  For those not in the know, she had extensive emergency knee surgery while on holiday some weeks ago and still very much needs her crutches to walk, with very limited weight bearing on the offending knee.
Lack of opportunity to do otherwise meant that my blip really had to be the vase of white roses, brought by Daughter #2 on Monday.  They are still looking very pretty, although a little ragged around the edges in places - a bit like me then!
