Nesting

The proliferation of birdlife in the near vicinity includes a nesting grebe - we think a Great Crested Grebe - but the birders of blipfoto will doubtless correct me if I'm wrong. I added a couple of extras to provide some more context of the nest.

I didn't sleep too well as my cold made another bid to dominate my life, in particular by making me cough. We've been out this morning to procure cough syrup, and that's been about it as far as I'm concerned. We did wander down to the shoreline and I had an ice cream, but I've had little energy for much else apart from trying to catch up on my photo editing. Some plans to do reading and writing came to naught.

Our visitors have been out having an energetic day - including a visit to Suomenlinna. They popped back briefly to drop off some stuff (well, wine...), and then headed out again to see chat to Mr Sibelius and to see more of the local sights. We'll see them again for dinner, which Mr A is cooking, having made an early morning foray to the Hakaniemi market hall.
