In The Woods

We went to the Walled Garden in search of red onion sets, and they had some left, thank goodness. It seems very late to be planting them, so fingers crossed that they will catch up.

We've had plenty of sun this week, but hardly any rain and a chilly wind most days. The soil is very dry, crusted almost, so not great for starting things off. It will be perfect if it rains next week - we're off on holiday on Tuesday!

We had a little walk in the woods behind the Walled Garden.  The bluebells are just on the point of going over, I'm glad I managed to see them before they disappear.
