Fish wash

I went to pick up some mosquito fish (Gambusia) from my pal Florence who started with three and now has hundreds. I wanted them for the pond as they eat mosquito larvae in prodigious quantities.

Then, on the way home, I remembered that Ali had asked me to take the car to the car wash. It was at the whizzo ShineTec phase that I suddenly remembered having taken my car to the wash many years ago. At the time one stayed in the car. I was there with my sheepdog William who went absolutely spare when the rollers started thumping over the car. I wondered how the fish were coping in a bucket in the passenger footwell. I needn’t have been anxious though. They have now settled into their new home very happily.
