Sihlsee - Einsiedeln

Went to Einsiedeln for a wonderful sunny and relaxing hike half around the lake. Einsiedeln is on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela and the more than 1000 years old Benedictine monastery gives the village a special character. Of course the shop sells wonderful homemade stuff such as sweets, tea and even wine - our rucksack was heavier in the evening going home than when we started in the morning.
